Film

Ger's first film role was in the 2000 Corman Pictures film The Game of Death in which he played the small featured role of Rude Gent.

His latest role was the Neurologist in the Vico Films feature An Creatur (formerly Helpless Spider) directed by Peter Foott . He played the supporting role of Captain of Guards in The Four Horsemen directed by Rob Kelly for Breaking Ground,

Ger cut his teeth into the film business with his first supporting role as the Rude Gent in The Game of Death (The Sucide Club) directed by Rachel Samuels of Corman Pictures. In the intervening years he has worked on various productions.

Omagh

An Creatur



He worked on the film, Omagh alongside Gerard McSorley, Michèle Forbes and Brenda Fricker.

 

 

 

An Creatur was produced by Cormac Fox and Daniel McCrea with Vico Films and written and directed by Foott, spans the first 15 years of Conor Buckley's life. The short tells of a childhood prank which leaves Conor paralysed by guilt; forcing him to correct his own mistake the only way he knows how.

The film won the Audience Award for Best Irish Short Film at the Corona Film Festival

The Four Horseman




The Four Horseman was written and directed by Robert Kelly, photographed by Stephen Murphy and finished post production in February 2006. ‘Four Horsemen' explores the story of the personification of pestilence and his coming to terms with mortality while carrying out his biblical duty to take life through disease. It starred Ruth Negga (Breakfast On Pluto), Feidlím Cannon (Studs, The Front Line) and Gavin Kelty (Headrush) the film was commissioned by the Breaking Ground 2 scheme.
