About Ger

Ger Considine is an actor & film maker operating out of Dublin. but based in Galway.

Literary Events
In 2008 Ger initiated he Kavanagh Days in Galway. This involves performing Patrick Kavanagh material by waterways in mid-July. From humble beginnings in the Galway Library where he was accompanied by Irish musicians, the event has grown in popularity over the past number of years. Corporate Work
Ger's corporate activities have included work on a Nortel Networks Corporate Training video, Still Photography Shoots for Multinational Pharmasuitacle clients. He's also participated in a few Irish TV Commercials.

Since 2005 he has been engaged as a speaker at numerous GP Training Programmes for the Health Service Executive (HSE) - North Eastern Region. This series of Doctor / Patient role-play scenarios depects patients with specific medical histories and are used by the HSE as Training packages for General Practitioners in Ireland.

Screen-West Database
Ger is listed in the Screen-West Database, which is available at the offices of the Galway Film Centre. It allows greater accessibility to actors for films and television programmes taking place in the West of Ireland. Murder Mystery
Ger worked with The Usual Suspects who perform Murder Mystery weekends in the Galway, Mayo areas. These themed weekends comprise of complete entertainment package with relevent characters introduced at the beginning of the evening and continue to mingle with the guests for the rest of the weekend. The 'Murder' is solved on Sunday morning!.

Charity Work
As well as his performing activities Ger has undertaken some Charity work. He was involved in the Galway Amphicat - Row on the River and SHAVEaton in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind. He took part in the NORTEL Fashion Show in aid Western Alziemers.

Further Credits
Ger Considine also runs Bannerboy Productions with credits including Still Photography, documenting rural life in the West of Ireland and filming Training Videos for the Irish University sector.
